Adult Education GED Program

At the TSUS Polk County Center, we are committed to helping members of our community move forward on their educational journey. Our Adult Education GED Study Program prepares students for the Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency (GED) exam by providing instruction in reading, writing, math, social studies, and science.

Classes are offered at no cost in a supportive classroom environment.  While the program is self-paced, each class session includes in-person instruction and guided practice with an instructor. Four class sessions are offered each week, including one evening option to accommodate a variety of schedules.

Students may enter the program at any time through our rolling admission process. Registration and attendance requirements must be met to participate.
